Luzius Ziermann loves to do spectacular installations. For his current project, he positions just over 2,500 side-view car mirrors on the ground in the form of the “light” sign he created. The different elements of the sign represent among others the sun and the moon as well as the earth’s rotation. Until now, Ziermann’s light sign has been arranged in the Namibian desert and on the black sand of the Canary Island Lanzarote. Next on the list is Ireland in October 2011. When all mirrors are in place, they reflect the sun at different angles, bringing the light sign to life.

ArtCollectorsClub is very happy to offer its members an exclusive edition of photographs of the installations in Namibia and Lanzarote. The photos were taken from a helicopter to capture the full spirit of the installation.
